My Sim is an actor. The sim goes to his audition. He leaves the house and is at the rabbit hole. And after the audition is over, I don't get the pop-up saying if he passed or failed. In fact, he just comes home and the career panel says he still has the audition at that time. I've tried several times and I still get the same result.

I have this issue too. My sim goes to an audition and when it's over there's no info whether she passed or not and I have to wait until midnight to see the prep tasks for the job. Exiting to the world view updates the prep tasks, but I shouldn't have to do that. There should be a pop up saying my sim has either passed or failed and the prep tasks should update right after the audition.
The same thing keeps happening to me and i did not find a solution. Did you?
I'm still getting this issue! I have to delete the lastexception file each time my sim goes for an audition to get it fixed temporarily, but every new audition has the same issue.
it seems to be fixed now in the latest update! keeping an eye to see if it pops up for me again
Whenever I try to play through the acting career there is a bug that makes it so that my sim is permanently in the audition stage, you can’t cancel or get rid of it and you’ll never get the job literally the only way I’ve gotten rid of it is to quit and rejoin the career meaning you lose all the progress in the career. I’ve never managed to make it past like level 4/5 of the career because it bugs like this everytime. Please fix this it’s been happening for SO LONG!!!!
My Sim is in the acting career, but when she gets to work, the UI that shows the daily tasks doesn't appear, so I can’t see or complete any of the goals for the gig. I’ve tried reloading the save from Manage Worlds and even closed and reopened the game, but nothing seems to fix it. This happens every time she goes to work, and it's making it impossible to play the career.
Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.

I got issue with the actors career too, when I do the audition it say I succeed the audition and sometimes it works properly and she gets her things she needs to do after the audition to go to the job. But sometimes it gets stuck on the audition and when it say it is succeed I can not get the things she needs to do to prepare for the work day. It does not help go out of the lot and back to the lot. This has been going on for a few months in various saves, I do not play that often with the actors career so I do not experince it that much, but now having a sim that has to get one of the actors aspiration it is hard to get famous.
