Every time an older sim tries to help a child learn to ride a bike or a child asks for help learning, the interaction is canceled with no reasoning, like being unable to walk there.

I have the same issue. When the kid asks for help to learn how to ride a bike or the parents want to teach them, they just don't do it. If I have the bike outside the kid's inventory and press on it, the kid just puts the bike back to the inventory and removes the helmet. I tried both with mods and without, and the issue persists.
