I keep attempting to use the alien eyes on my hybrid Sim (alien/ science baby with grim reaper), and her eyes won't stay as her original, which was the alien black eyes. Is there any way to get them to stay, or should I give up? I play the game without custom content.

Possible that it has to do with the hybrid thing. Do you have the same issue with other alien children ?
No mods either, my game is completely vanilla. And it doesn't happen with aliens born from abduction, but does happen with any type of hybrids with Aliens, including if it is a regular Sim and and an Alien.
I also wanted and forgot to add that I only changed the eyes after they didn't keep when the infant aged up. The infant had those eyes when they aged up from the baby stage. They didn't have it in the cradle, and I couldn't get them to stick once they aged into a toddler and then child sim.
could you do a quick test on a backup of your saves if it sticks for teen and up to know if this is just affecting toddlers/children ?
