[GTW] Males not getting pregnant after abduction

Hello,

I noticed an error with alien abductions regarding alien pregnancies.

Since we can choose whether or not a sim can get pregnant, if a male sim can get other sims pregnant, but can't get pregnant, during an alien abduction, he can never come back pregnant.

But, alien abductions should not count with the gender option, since the sims 2 men can come back pregnant during an abduction.

The alien gameplay is included in the game and is therefore an error by the developers.

I had a lot of trouble getting my sim pregnant until I realized it was because of the option like add, it would be nice to make kidnappings no longer take into account if yes or no a male man can get pregnant or get pregnant.

My message aims to point out this error since the addition of the genre.

  • I play on ps5 and have had this issue for a long time even with baby male sim with max logic and max science  career being abducted over 100x and not one alien pregnancy

  • To break it down simply i play on ps5 I never used mods and been currently playing a scientist sim with max logic max rocket science and is maxed in their career, has numerous times been abducted and not once has gotten a alien pregnancy once since I got the pack. Even when I save as the sim is abducted and then close the game and reload no alien babies :(

  • I usually use the following official cheats that not many of my fellow Simmers seem to know much about, “Interactions.push alienabduction_beabducted”-“Stats.set_stat commodity_alienabduction_cooldown 0” to force abductions to happen multiple times if none of my certain male Sims come back pollinated from alien abduction, I've been wanting more alien babies but I've noticed that none of them have come back pregnant since the last update no matter how many times I use the cheats so I can make them happen more frequently to possibly having a male Sim being pollinated, I think this issue was last broken in 2023 now it's happening again I think? So could this be set under investigation eventually please?

Adding my voice to this - been trying to get my male (alien) sim pregnant via abduction, but it is not happening. He has been abducted 6 times so far with no pregnancy. He is working his way up in the scientist career (is currently at Mad Scientist level).

I've tried 12 times getting abducted and my male sim will not get pregnant.  I also tried with MCCC command and making the chances 100% and it will not happen.  I removed mods and repaired my game and I can not get it to happen at all.  Logic and programming skills maxed out, scientist career maxed out.  I can get abducted easily but pregnancy is not happening.

  • I really want this fixed on console soon, I strongly want my sim self to father more aliens from abductions again, I use cheats to force abductions to happen, done it several times already and still have not been pollinated.

  • This is happening to me and it's really annoying that they still don't fix this!

  • Tested it with and without mods and it seems this bug is back. I'm very disappointed about this, cause I like to be surprised and not use MCCC to cheat a pregnancy. I hope I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.

With MCCC I bumped up the percentage to 100 (guaranteed pregnancy) and nothing happens. I know mods can cause issues but even with MCCC a pregnancy should happen. I'm not okay with sharing my save, cause I have sims that have cc hair and skintones.

If anyone else can replicate this for me that would be great. You can try it with no mods, but I'm asking for those who use MCCC to do the same as stated above to see if you get the same results. And yes, I have the latest version.

Edit: creating a new save seemed to have fixed the issue, but temporarily. I just tested it and nothing happens. I really hope this gets fixed soon.
