Prom is still not working for me. It now shows in the calendar and Sims can invite others to Prom, but there is not an option to go to prom on Saturday. The pop up never comes. I tried traveling there with my Sim to see if that worked, but it was just the empty building.
The option for graduation has shown up inconsistently as long as I've had the pack. I think I've only been able to send my Sims once successfully. Currently, they are able to go to Graduation with family members, and the room is arranged for the event, but no one else ever shows up.
