Household members turning into neighbors/ Can't use doors (1.112.519/2.06)

This is an old bug that's supposed to be fixed. You are on the newest game version, right ?

To fix it try one of the following

• Travel to another lot
• Switch households and back
• Move out and back in.

After the most recent Sims 4 update, the main sim in my household is not able to enter her home or interact with her daughter at all. She waves her arm like her path is blocked. She was my household’s original sim - her spouse moved in and she had her daughter, but she has "neighbor" in red text over her name. I tried removing her from the household and adding her back, tried going to manage worlds and returning, and even tried restarting the game.

I'm having an issue where my Sim is listed as a "neighbor" to herself and I am not able to self-select anything on her. She can't change her infant's diaper or bathe any of her children. I've tried multiple game repairs as well as deleting mods that I had in my game, but I'm still having this issue. 

While playing my sims in his own house, the game suddendly considers him as neighbor. He then can't go inside the house if not invited and has its own will just like a neighbor. My sims suddendly decide to recycle the dragon fruits I was planning to sell :'( 

The sims is Knox from Eco lifestyle. He is married to another sims I created and they live in the neighborhood. I don't know if it's important but I though maybe the game sometimes forget he moved.

I don't have any CC or Mods in game.

I'm not seeing a Last Exception associated with this, but in several recent games, both modded and unmodded, Knox Greenburg, after moving in with and in some cases marrying my original sim in The Shipping Views, has been unable to enter their residence, and while I can select him as active sim, order him to go here and there and interact with object, he has no self interactions. My other sim could invite him in (why was this necessary or even possible? He's part of the household) and after she did, he could go through the residence door.

Reversing or replacing the main door (which had worked in previous versions when a household member could not go through a door, usually the bathroom door) did not work in these instances. Neither did doing a save/reload.

I have not seen this with any other sim, or any other lot, but haven't been playing with other townie household members or other lots since I first saw this.

crinrict No, in the one old save that I could find with the problem, his relationship tags are Soulmates, Co-Workers, Steamy, Amazing Compatibility and Fiancé. With mods enabled, I couldn't check his residence using MCCC before the invite; after the invite, his residence was what it should be: The Shipping Views. In the current (unmodded) game, after the invite (I don't have a save from after the bug appeared and before the invite on this save), substitute Spouse for Fiancé and add Best Friend  and Close. Might possibly be memory constraint related, I had two crashes switching between saves before I shut down Firefox, a notorious memory hog. (Do you want the Last Crash files?) In this save the bug showed up during a baby shower, I don't remember about previous instances.

I don't know if they get an actual bit or if it's just the tag showing (cause it doesn't always show up) when you hover over the Sim.

It usually fixes it self by travelling and other things.

Don't think I have an old save to check if they have the actual bit.

Did you never notice a tag when hovering over him ?
