Just got For Rent, purchased my first residential property and moved my sims into one of the units.

There's an $18 bill I can't pay no matter what I do (tried multiple sims, phone, computer, mailbox).

My power just got turned off and I still can't pay the bills or use cheats to pay them. Basically this save is now unusable because they don't have power and I can't get it back on.

I'm on Mac and the newest version of the game.
