My chickens, goats, and, sheep are randomly disappearing as well I didn't receive any notification warning me they were going to run away they just disappeared. The animals aren't in my Sims Inventor...

I recently installed Life & Death, went to an active workday as a Grimtern, and came back to find all my chickens gone. They've disappeared from the coop and relationship panel, and aren't in the personal or household inventories. I didn't get any notifications about them leaving. They were all new chickens I'd just bought the previous Sim-day, they had food, and I'm on a lot with no foxes, so I don't think anything could've killed them offscreen.
The chickens were outside of the coop when I left the lot, so that does seem to be relevant to the issue! My llama, who was sleeping inside the shed at the time, is still fine.
I do have mods, but none of them change anything about the cottage animals. I've had Cottage Living for a while, and this is the first time I've seen this. I'm guessing something happened when the game updated for Businesses & Hobbies?
