My chickens, goats, and, sheep are randomly disappearing as well I didn't receive any notification warning me they were going to run away they just disappeared. The animals aren't in my Sims Inventor...

I'm also having this issue. I've had a chicken disappear in one save, and now 3 sheep vanish on 2 separate occasions. Is there any fix for this? Or a workaround?
EDIT: I've done a little experimenting, and putting the sheep in a sim's inventory doesn't help. Yesterday I got one of my sims to leave the lot (leaving her husband at home) and that worked fine. I saved before trying just in case. Today I did the same thing. Husband went to the Finchwick Fair and I saved first. When he got home, 2 sheep were gone. So I loaded the earlier save and they were still gone! They were definitely there when I saved. So even if you save before leaving the lot your livestock is not currently safe. RIP Daisy, Poppyseed and Marshmallow, you were so cute! 😭
Same here!! I've been saving every 10 min or so to go back in case the bug happen and then when obviously it happened I tried reloading my "complete livestock" save.... it didn't matter, they were gone anyways.
And there is more, whenever I try the "recovered" save its kinda gacha, you might get 1-4 different animals disappeared. Awesome.
