My chickens, goats, and, sheep are randomly disappearing as well I didn't receive any notification warning me they were going to run away they just disappeared. The animals aren't in my Sims Inventor...

I'm having the same issue. I play in the vampire world, so it seems unrelated to the actual lot. (No mods or cc, latest version of the game)
I noticed that my mini goats and sheep went to sleep to the park instead of staying on the lot for some reason and I noticed that traveling when these animals are not inside the actual lot makes them disappear completely, as if they never existed.
I tried doing some testing and a temporary solution may be making sure that the animals stay inside the grid of the lot.
