My chickens, goats, and, sheep are randomly disappearing as well I didn't receive any notification warning me they were going to run away they just disappeared. The animals aren't in my Sims Inventor...

Same issue for me: when I leave the lot, any chickens that are out of the lot grid have been deleted upon return, as though they never were. It's good to know that there's a workaround (making sure all of them are inside the coop, or at least the grid, before leaving the lot or going into build mode), but there's no quick way to get them back, so it's very disheartening. I can cheat back some things, but it's still quite the pain. Hoping that this will get looked into further soon.
Also, the lot I've noticed this on is Moppy Manor in Ravenwood, so I can confirm that it's happening outside of the Cottage Living world.
