[HSY] Prom not taking place but is showing in calendar (Patch 1.116)

I don't understand what info do they still need.

I think "needs info" means send them your saves that have the glitch in it!

When will prom be fixed? :( I know it's silly, but if they can't fix this, or career day.... What's the point to HSY anymore? My game worked fine until the update that broke it.

It's not silly at all don't worry, we spent money on this pack and they can't even be bothered to fix it. It's also one of the main packs and is still available for purchase while it is in this state. It's shocking to be quite honest. This has all really annoyed me. 

I found a save file that pre-dates both HSY AND HR and it's now messed up because of this. Almost makes me want to delete the game and move, permanently, to InZOI.

One of my friends found a mod that lets you set Prom as a holiday, but it doesn't work for the game's auditorium. I tried. No more fun nights for my teens until the devs get their stuff together.
Edit: After I removed the mod, the 'holiday' was still active.... And this happened

crinrict​ I’m not sure if you’re a moderator here or something as I’m very new to the forum but I saw you reply on a lot of posts here so I thought I’ll tag you… since this was originally posted 6 months ago, is this even being looked into now considering how many new reports there are of this issue in the comment section? Is it worth starting a new thread to highlight it’s still/again an issue?

I read through both threads you mentioned and I think I get how this works now so I have one last question - the status of this post has been „needs info” for a while now. I’m not techy enough to share a save from ps4 but since a ton of people mention they have this issue, I doubt it’s related to a single save file anyway, and from what I read in these threads I understand you’re the one who sets the status on a report. So is there anything else besides a save file that could influence the status of this bug being changed to highlight it to maxis quicker?

sorry if it’s a dumb question, im still learning the ropes of how this proces works and as most people in the comments here, I’d just like this fixing asap so I can enjoy my new expansion fully 😊

I don't know if saves are actually still needed and what the current status is. As you say, there should be enough people that have provided them by now so if you don't feel comfortable doing it, I think it should be fine.

A Community manager would need to give any definite answers to that though.
