Absolutely the same problem, and with all career traits from HSY (Cheer Champion, Chess Master, L33T Hacker, Star Player).
As one user noted, "for some reason HS Exit and HS Team reward traits all have their allow_from_gallery tag set to false, not sure if this was intentional" i.e. fixing this error can take a few minutes, but at the same time it has been present in the game for over two years.
I am really tired of being unpleasantly surprised by the fact that ordinary users and modders fix the game faster and better than the creators themselves. This is the level of support for a $5 indie game, created and supported by one person, and not the level of EA, Maxis and entire The Sims franchise.
