The High School Years EP has been heavily bugged in my game for quite some time now. I have repaired my game constantly, started new save files, removed my ea folder, and everything I could think of....

Does anything happen when you go to graduation ? Like you're name being called and speech to watch ?

Yes this save I did speed run and the principal eventually got the podium herself but my sim didn’t get a notification about the event so I had to manually click the calendar and open the event to attend. He did his valedictorian speech, him and a few random other graduates walked across the stage then if I remember correctly the lot auto switched back to the normal non event type on its own, so I made my sim leave. But he never got a diploma after or even a pic of his graduation. And when I sped run another week into it, the exact same scenario of the event being marked as normal and he still doesn’t have his diploma, pic, or anything he should get from graduating.
You should get a popup to ask if you want to attend. At the event you don't have goals as such if you are a YA. You get a notification to take a seat and wait for the speech and to get your diploma when your name is called. If you did not get a diploma at the event you can order it through mail. To get a photo click on the backdrop and choose it there.
If you are still a teenager on graduation I think you have goals there.really? i could have sworn that my graduation ceremony events used to be goaled; ive had HSY since release and back then, my graduation ceremonies used to work fine but now my diploma never arrives but a random bb copy does that I can only view and nothing else. No graduation photo or anything else included anymore. And when the ceremonies do occur now, the graduates get stuck in a random loop of “showing diploma” or something like that, so my sims usually can’t get the walk across the stage animation bc they keep getting interrupted. i think that’s why my diplomas never arrive
but the pop up to attend never happens anymore either. i have to click the calender during the ceremony time and travel there to get it started instead of the pop up coming anymore. it’s like the ceremony code is broken in my game bc it treats it like it never happened. i don’t even get a milestone for graduating anymore. then i had to use the “connections” reward trait in one save just to actually have a career boost.
