After patch v1.114.46.1030, the High School Years career event fails to load properly. When a teen Sim arrives at school, the event does not trigger, no objective panel appears, and only the generic lot music plays — not the school event music. No class interactions occur.
According to Better Exceptions, the error comes from attempting to restore the event and throws:
TypeError: IndexedManager keys must be integers
The issue propagates through , likely caused by a missing or value in event data.career_Teen_HighSchoolcareer_event_manager.py → situation_manager.py → indexed_manager.pyNone
If the teen Sim is not visiting the high school for the first time, the event UI still appears — but only as a simplified llama icon, with no full mission goals displayed.
Tried changing save files, replacing lots, cleaning up mods (MCCC etc.) — nothing resolved it. Other users are reporting similar symptoms. A fix or workaround would be appreciated.
