Prom is not on the calendar for my sims, and I have not been able to get it to be there despite trying to turn off aging, and switching normal lifespan to long lifespan. I also have the 'allow romantic and friendly interactions' button on, and have repaired the game. Not really sure what else to do, a few other sims asked to go come over to my sim's house for a pre-prom party but then prom never happened afterwards. I have gotten no prom interactions since, I don't have the option to ask anyone or make a sign, I even tried going to the auditorium the day of prom to try to trigger the event but nothing happened.
Same here. Prom isnt even an option. The invite option isnt here. Its not on the calander either. I have arleady did a repair and that didnt fix the issue.
Its like Prom got deleted from the game.
Truly. No more options for promposals or anything.
I am also experiencing this. No mods and ive tried creating a new game file and even going to the auditorium on Saturday evening. Can't make proposals signs either.
I will note that ive done almost every single fix suggested except reinstalling the game. I can include one of my save files if needed.

im on xbox , and I also can't go to prom or make a sign ask anyone to prom I showed up to the auditorium during prom time all I get is the invite to get together before prom all I wanted was my sim to have cute prom photos to show their future children 😭
I usally don't have bug in my game even if I play with mod but it's the first time I have a "major" bug. Im happy to not be alone to have the same issue since the last update
No prom here as well!! Shame cuz my sim has a cute formal outfit!!
I have the same issue. Only way prom works is to open an old save-file from years ago. Creating a new one doesn’t work. I also tried re-installing HSY, didn’t help either. It’s like prom is deleted from the game like someone else here said. So annoying!!
I’m also having the same problem. I also not use mods. I started a new game and still nothing.
