[HSY] Prom disappears from Calendar

I had never had any issues with prom before, but since the most recent bug fixes patch, prom simply does not exist for me in the game. I have started two different saves since the last patch (one with mods, one without) and prom is just... not there. There is no option to ask someone to prom when I click on classmates. I get no mid-week announcement of "prom is coming, make sure you have your date" while my sim is at school. There is no event on the calendar. I have my lifespan set to long, so my teenagers are teens for several weeks. The ONLY thing that continues to happen as usual is the weekly pre-prom gathering on Saturday, but then 7pm rolls around and there's no prom. If anyone else is experiencing this, or has any insight or guidance, I would love to hear it. I made a new save last night that was completely mod-free and played through several days, and prom is still nonexistent. I tried repairing the game as others have, no help. It's interesting to note that I did go back and check an older pre-patch game and I still have the option there to invite to prom, and the event is on the calendar as it should be.
