It seems my proms are gone now too.
Three days ago, I wrote about reloading an old save file which seemed to make prom work again. However, it only delayed this problem by one Sim week. The pre-prom get-together still works, but on Saturday 7 PM, nothing happens. And there's no prom in the calendar.
Plus, during the Sim week in between, Career Day broke as well. There is no task box at all anymore. Since both are events for teens that take place in the auditorium, there might be a connection.
It seems High School Years is completely disintegrating right now. Which is sad, because in my current save file, I particularly enjoy playing teens. I have a dozen families with teens that I play rotationally. But all of this is really taking the fun out of it for me.
I hope with the next patch EA fixes severe gaveplay bugs like this instead of adding new swatches to old furniture etc.
It's starting to feel like features that I paid for are slowly starting to not work and not be fixed for months and months until they get pressured
I really enjoy playing with teenagers and all the interactions from High School Years, but it's a package with a lot of glitches. Disappointing.
