I had the same problem and was looking for the cause.
The reason prom wasn't appearing on the calendar was because the DramaNode for prom wasn't scheduled correctly. So, when I checked the "promInviteDramaNode_HSProm" xml file, I found the following line:

After deleting this "blacklist_traits" line, prom appeared on the calendar. In other words, this line was preventing prom from being scheduled. Please fix this.
Absolutely insane that people like you can figure this out but they didn't check this before rolling out the update. Surely this is something they should have noticed and tested??? Are we able to do this ourselves to fix it? How easy is it to do this?
We'll probably never know :( And without the prom, I really don't enjoy it very much. I know it can be fixed using Sims 4 Studio, but I don't know where to save it afterwards.
