I lost a whole month of gaming hours due to this. I had to load an old save. I’m still unsure if it will even work after that. Graduation is always super buggy too. I after to turn all aging off just to be able to have prom or graduation and it still is buggy. This is ridiculous as I bought that pack to HAVE PROM AND GRADUATION
Do not go back to an old save file! Prom will NOT take place the NEXT weekend. Your old save file works now because in it, prom is already in the calendar, but it won't be the following week. (I know because I tried that.)
Just play with your most recent save file and wait until EA fixes this bug.
I don't think people have much faith that they will fix it which is why everyone is trying to find a fix. And, to be honest, I don't have faith either. Problems tend to get left for months and months until they are backed into a corner and have no choice but to do something about it.
Yes, I understand. I just wanted to share my experience and prevent them from needlessly throwing away a save file.
And yes, there are SO many bugs that have persisted in the game for years even and that have still not been fixed. Let's just hope this is not going to become one of those.
