In older saves, the prom happens. And the prom menu is there. Yay! But, when creating a new save, the prom is ignored by the game. Currently, I'm playing on a generation save. The father went to the prom. But, when the daughter became a teenager and it was her turn to go to high school, the prom disappeared.
How the bug occurred:
1. Probably after the December update. Before that, my teen Sim went to the prom.
2. I switched the lifespan from normal to short for a while. Then I changed it back to normal lifespan.
3. I paused aging for a while, before the daughter became a teenager.
