I had the same problem and was looking for the cause.
The reason prom wasn't appearing on the calendar was because the DramaNode for prom wasn't scheduled correctly. So, when I checked the "promInviteDramaNode_HSProm" xml file, I found the following line:

<L n="blacklist_traits">
<T>277740<!--trait_HSExit_Graduate_Early--></T>

</L>
</L>
After deleting this "blacklist_traits" line, prom appeared on the calendar. In other words, this line was preventing prom from being scheduled. Please fix this.
Can you tell us how you managed to do this please? Considering the team clearly aren't going to fix the issue themselves anytime soon
