Hi everyone,
I have sent two private messages to Community Manager EA_Solaire to report the severity of the bugs currently affecting the High School Years expansion pack, but I wanted to share the information here as well.
First Report: Critical Issues
Prom Event: The Prom does not take place and does not even appear on the calendar.
Career Day: It is impossible to satisfy the objectives because the "Talk about the Future" interaction with the teacher does not appear.
Graduation: The event is not marked on the calendar and does not occur even after a teenager has aged up to a Young Adult.
Second Report: Potential Technical Fix
I also informed the CM that user gurugurumayu32 found the incorrect line of code responsible for the Prom bug. By removing that specific piece of erroneous code, the Prom event reappears on the calendar and functions correctly.

I hope the dev team sees this community-found fix and implements it in the next month patch. This expansion is currently unplayable for many of us!"
Wait ... Career Day has objectives?????? I have actually never had this. I always thought it was stupid and boring and just used it for socializing. Is there a toggle or something?
The goals were 1) to ask for details about his career and 2) to talk to the teacher about the future.
Yeah, I lost the goals in a previous update. I can still "Ask for career details," but I can't talk to the teacher. I still make progress toward a gold day, regardless of what I do at career day. I let one teen play computer games the whole time.
