Still waiting for an update... it's been months since I've had this problem and been monitoring this forum. EA please fix this!! I don't know why you ignored this problem in your laundry list for the new updates upcoming when this is affecting hundreds of users!
Others have attributed the problem to sims graduating early from high school that caused this issue to potentially exist. I tried going into the system files to delete the graduate early line under prom but unfortunately can't get my (basic windows) reader to be able to read the lines without adding mods. I don't want to add mods and try this then since I've heard mods have also contributed to this problem. I do not have any mods so that can't be the problem though either.
