I also cannot attend prom, even with new saves. It is not on my calendar. I do get a prompt to attend a get together before prom, on occasion, but then prom doesn't happen. I have issues with promotions for after-school activities sometimes too, and graduation never came once in an old save. We will see if it works this time.
