Bought high-school years a month ago because of the exact reason that I wanted to experience the prom feature and never been able to. Never even seen it in the calendar, never gotten a prompt for it - nothing. Feel robbed to be honest. It's an expansion pack and it doesn't even have one of the key features which is frustrating, and i know this has been an issue for months now.
And no, don't have mods, & yes, have enabled "Allow Romantic Invites & Requests" and "Allow Friendly Invites and Requests"
