I've noticed that the progress bar when my sim goes to prom is not showing any progress, although is correctly ticking the activities done, and finishes as we didn't do anything. Started from this up...

Experiencing the exact same issue. I play vanilla only and have two sims of the same household attending prom. Electing each other as prom royalty still works, but all other goals except for voting won't get checked off. I was very excited for prom but it's so horribly bugged :(
Also, is it just me or does the game expect you to fulfill a lot of goals in a very short timespan? Or is the bar progression normally quicker if it is functional?
Usually, it was too quick that Silver might be the top I reached; with 2 sims, gold was possible. Each task took long time to tick, but I saw the same with other youtubers, so that was "normal". This time it's quite different as nothing was ticked as completed when tasks were done.
