Prom wasn't showing up on my calendar but the teens were still invite to a gathering before prom. I used no mods at that time so not sure was causing it.

Could you please provide the following info
- Did you remove mods/cc or never have any ?
- Which platform are you playing on ?
- What is your game version ? You can find that on the main menu in the lower left corner
- Can you please check if you have romantic/friendly events allowed ?
This is my first time and sorry for not completely understanding what you mean by split your post in it's own thread and not reporting it until I saw someone else having the same problem.
I didn't use mods at the time. I just started using the Expanding Mermaids 2.0 by Spinning Plumbob yesterday.

Yes I have them allowed. Also my teens I added to my game aged up yesterday.

I played my new game to see if prom would should up, it did and my sims went. My girl sim won the royalty crown. Sorry I didn't know how to screenshot of the calendar on my laptop but it's there. Thanks
So it's just the existing save where it still didn't work or did you wait some more in the old save and it showed up there too ?
