Every time I try to put an infant to bed, the game bugs and they end up attached to the adult sims' feet. The game acts as if they are in their bed, but they will be glitched into the feet of whatever sim put them to bed. This makes the infant stage very difficult and adds to the other bugs with infants that I have seen reported.
I use mods but when without them this happens. I usually just end up making them sleep on the floor, but this usually results in the "unhappy infant" trait, even when they are well taken care of otherwise. If I don't do this, no one else can take care of the baby, especially if the sim they glitch to leaves the lot to go to work or whatever; the infant will disappear but act as if it is in the crib.
