Had the issue too and I was able to solve it in a better way by going into manage worlds and then load the Household again so I didn't need to travel. Also going in and out of CAS works for me too and that could be a much better way, Anything involving loading screens seems to be the best work around until it's fixed. For now going to manage worlds or CAS is your best friend. I play toddlers and infants a lot so I was sure to see this issue which I did. Same steps apply to coming across this issue. Also voted!

No it doesn't sadly. Anything with loading screens work. Think of it as reloading the lot. Best to just go in and out of CAS for now if you get this issue.
