I'm frequently getting interactions I'm not longer doing getting stuck as the first item in my Sims's queue. It's been happening for a while, and I'm not sure when it started. Cancelling the interaction just causes the interaction to display with an X through it. The only way I can clear the interaction is by resetting the Sims or going to World Management/Travel. Going off Lot for a Career does not remove it.
Playstation 5. I'm not sure if it's the same problem, because my sim got stuck in a loop: he kept opening/closing the umbrella instead of performing the assigned action. And then, when he finally did another action, his hand was blocked as if he was still holding an umbrella. I'm attaching a video.
Yes same thing in my game for what feels like forever now.

I second this issue! It's been happening to me for 5 months now. Resetting works sometime but most times I need to exit my game and reopen for it to fix.
I have not had it happening for ages, but it's doing so now. Absolutely maddening. It seems particularly an issue with my sims interacting with their toddler or infants. Also, they then reset spontaneously. No LE, either.

Started noticing this happening after the latest patch. Surprised it's an issue that's been going on so long for other people. Hope this gets fixed at some point, though I'd guess it's a pretty low priority as it doesn't seem to be game breaking.
I find this happens most frequently with "join cooking", especially if the sim doing the helping doesn't make it in time and the cooking sim has finished. The other one that happens a lot for me is juggling the soccer ball. Resetting the sim helps but I usually have to wait until they've completed the other actions in the queue, because obviously it will reset the other things I have them set up to do.
I've been using Manage Worlds to fix it, but if I select Save and Manage Worlds, it locks up the game.
I've noticed it happening frequently since the Enchanted expansion.
I've played Sims games since the day The Sims was released, and this is by FAR the most frustrating thing that's come up. Every time it crashes, I have to repair, and because I have every pack ever offered, it takes forever to get back to my game, often only to have it start stacking up actions and the Sim just freezes.
It often happens to only one Sim in the household and the other remains playable for a bit, but then that Sim locks up, usually from trying to interact with the frozen Sim. Sometimes if my fairy has a sub-action of walking, I can click the walk to end it, and the Sim goes to the next action, but skipping the one that was supposed to be in process. My DOG even freezes up. (Not to mention if I pick up my puppy, I can't put it down, causing its needs to deplete. It would die if I didn't restart the game.)
PC, no mods, no CC, all packs installed.
This has also been a persisting bug for my game as well, only fix has been to exit game completely and come back in. Would like this to be fixed so I don't have to exit so often.
