I've played 2 Sims already doing the JTB aspirations and with both of them I haven't been able to create their Batuu outfits. I click on the "Plan Batuu Outfit" and nothing happens. I click on it several times more and still nothing.
I searched and couldn't find a similar topic anywhere on the forums so I'm guessing this is new?
I purchased JTB end of October and started playing the first week of November so not sure if the update has anything to do with it???
I have the same problem. The quest said completed but it didn’t happen. The action would just disappear. My Sim is wearing her regular clothes which is a little disappointing.

My Sim just arrived in Batuu. She can freshen up but can’t create an outfit. The action appears and then disappears instantly. I repaired the game but it didn’t help. The quest says she completed the outfit but she didn’t.
My sim had an Alien baby, so I decided it would be a fun detour to go to Battu since it had been about a year or so since I last played there.
However, upon it loading all but one of my Sims had on their regular clothes,
there were other issues getting the vacation working that took a minute to sort out. (I did make a separate post about that as I don’t think the issues are related to each other). But getting them sorted out I decided I wanted at least a couple of my Sims to have a Battu outfit for the full “experience”.
But the “plan Battu outfit” interaction didn’t work. The interaction queued but then cancelled out and did nothing. And no my sim did not do the “I can’t get there” animation or anything, the interaction just poofed from the queue.
DX9, windows 10 PC, Graphics Card, and Game are fully up to date.
Edit: after traveling to another district all of my Sims received Battu outfits, and planning one actually works.
