My sims had a child that was taken away due to neglect. I can't understand why, all her needs were fulfilled, i had no warning from schools. She had probably only been in school for around a week so i don't believe poor performance caused it. not sure if this is a bug? i have checked the manage worlds can't seem to find the sim. Is there any way of getting her back?

first of all as you didn't pick any tags: Is this with or without mods/cc ?
Did you ever check the grade the Sim has ? Children are usually taken for bad grades.
Did you create the Child in CAS or was she ingame born ?
