I am also having this problem. A child wakes up in the middle of the night and is whisked away though all needs are met, grades are high, and no negative moodlets. The only thing that could surpass the bug was using the mod MCC Command Center which allowed me to quickly age up my child sim to a young adult and then aged them back down. But then the bug would jump to the next kid within in-game minutes- whisking them away. So I hecked all mods and I also took out and disabled all mods; it's still happening with just using base game + purchased DLC. I can't move on in my game from here without surpassing this.
Same thing happening in my game, no mods and I DO NOT have the Life and Death extension. Recently purchased the Business and Hobies one though.Hopefully a fix or at least a workaround is available soon because my save is unplayable right now...
