So I'm not sure what may be the trigger for the issue but I had a adopted child that lost a tooth and put it under his pillow and then gets up around 3:00am because he was whisked away due to neglect. But when it happens the popup saying he passed away and if I wanted to continue as a playable ghost or not shows but he wasn't a ghost. Initially he was feeling sad because the parents had just had twins so I exited the game and went back in to see if it was a glitch and made sure to talk to him and have him write in his journal before going to bed and the moodlet was gone, he was perfectly happy just sleepy and still the same thing happened and now the dad that did the adoption just keeps grieving him like he died.
