[LD] [IL] Sims with Sulani Mana trait can't be added to Memorial Portrait

When my sims who have the Sulani Mana trait die, they aren't in the list of sims who can be picked for a Memorial Picture Frame. I can do a funeral for them, but no picture. They also glitched when trying to Rebirth them.

Edit: this occurs both modded and unmodded.

2nd edit: I finished the legacy I was working on, and found that the Sulani Mana trait appears for every descendant sim all the way down the line, forever. This means that after a couple generations, almost every sim in the family has it. It affects the picker for almost everything.

For instance, the picker for clubs does not have sims with Sulani Mana, you have to ask the sims directly to join the club. You can't ask them to watch a movie, play video games, or take picture with. They're excluded from almost every picker in the game.

This happened to me too. As a workaround I used the cheat console to remove the trait, assign them and then re-equip the trait

I also have this issue. No mods. Very disappointing as many legacy players use Sulani Mana to track who is related.

I've also had this (quite upsetting) bug!
Mac, no mods.
I'm trying to play with Island Living more in my New Zealand-inspired save as a substitute for NZ Māori culture, and keep finding more ways that EP doesn't properly integrate with later packs.
My sim who had Sulani Mana trait and was reborn didn't remember his Sulani Mana trait (it can't be retained by "peering into soul") but is also excluded from the "club picker" as OP mentions, despite the Sulani Mana trait not even showing in his traits.
So there must be some hidden trait or buff relating to Sulani Mana that messes with things.
