The first time I had a sim swim in Baleful Bog was right after Life and Death came out, and it went as expected. She returned to life at the end of the OBE with no lingering moodlets popping up. Today, I had a different sim swim in the Baleful Bog for a little temp ghost fun, and when the OBE was over, the Haunted by Embarrassment moodlet lingered and now continues to pop up multiple times a sim day and lasts two hours each time. No other lingering side effects like traits or abilities, as far as I can tell.
I tried a few things to make it go away, and so far the only one that worked was using cas full edit mode to make him a ghost who died from embarrassment and having him eat ambrosia to come back to life. The only downside to that seems to be that he’s now been reset to the beginning of the teen life stage, when he was near the end. Easily solved.
I play on PS5, so no mods or cc conflicts. Hope this can get fixed. It’s a really fun mechanic and great for story telling, but it looks like there’s always a chance you’ll get one of the death types with a sticky moodlet, and then the hassle to undo that is sort of a bother.
