Having this problem right now (yeah, laptop). I was at the fair in the Cottage Living world and it started to rain, so I went back to my sims' home in Chestnut Ridge (the largest lot), and it was raining there too and the leaves in the plants (decor from the build section and the ones I grew) inside the lot were naked (also some of the ones in the world). It was also the last day of Summer. If I zoom out, the leaves on the decor trees are visible, but the ones I grew remain naked. The only unaffected plant was the carrots, for some reason. Here's a list:
Affected cultivated plants:
- Peas (indoors, one of them share a planter with the carrots)
- Strawberry (indoors)
- Apple tree (indoors)
- Tomato (outdoors)
- Blueberry (outdoors)
- Chocoberry (outdoors)
- Blackberry (outdoors)
- Avocado (outdoors)
- Lemon (outdoors)
Affected outdoor trees:
- Mesquite Tree
- Hawthorne Tree
The trees in the world that lost their leaves seem to be sized up versions of the Mesquite Tree.
Disabling Laptop Mode solved the problem.
