Legacy Family Trees: Tree collapses/Overlaps/ Wrong connections (1.121.372)

I don't understand what's going on. This is the second patch with no results.

I think my issue is also connected to what you're talking about. CAS cousins, piblings & niblings not treated as family/can romance in some cases. So basically, cousins, and piblings and niblings created directly in CAS won't be considered family in the new family tree and by the relationship panel, and can romance each other. Basically this means whoever directly import a pair of cousins where you or pibling and nibling (imagine the scenario where you create a scenario where an orphaned child is living uncle their uncle/aunt's household, but you don't wanna create the uncle/aunt a sibling (parent of the orphaned child), and then enter live mode to kill off that sibling just so the child is for sure orphaned) from CAS would also deal with the same problem as well, which defo ruins the gameplay. and guess what, it's still not fixed yet!

Makes me feel like the game can only deal with only one unknown parent at once, which is why siblings without parents and grandparent and grandchild without a parent in between are possible, and hence my unfixed issue as well. CAS cousins, piblings & niblings not treated as family/can romance in some cases, coz cousins created directly from cas means 3 unknown parents, while piblings and niblings mean 2 unknown parents

After yesterday update I have still family trees overlapping and also I had a secret child and when the secret was revealed the step-father of the baby became the uncle 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think i fixed it... I deleted my sim and remake him and set the family tree the way it should have been... he had a affair with one sim that had a child and was married to another sims having kids. 

the tree showed him married to his niece and the kids been his and his grandniece and grandnephew... and somehow, he was brother to the sims he had affair with husband when... I made him alone. 

I will not be doing the secret child thing until it's fixed... the same thing happened to me... my sim secret child was revealed then he became the brother of affair's husband and married to the niece and having children with her.

Oh I quite agree! The fact this is the third time this specific thread has been created is just outrageous.

I hope comments like ours can potentially link issues that have some correlation might actually start the chain reaction of finding the problem. The CAS link to the family tree and vice versa needs to looked at the very least, just looking at the surface UI is not going to solve anything as relationships are being overwritten without the player's input. 

I don't have the new expansion.  I have the issue of not being able navigate the tree UI.  If you try to move up the tree, it snaps back to the center of the tree.  If you try to zoom out, everything shifts to the left.  If you zoom back in, the tree is off the screen and if you try to move the tree into the center - you guessed it, it snaps back to empty screen.  Once it does this, if you manage to actually wrangle the tree back to the center focus, the same behavior of centering on the tree happens again.  This isn't past behavior, it isn't desirable behavior, it isn't useful behavior, so let's add a broken UI to big ol' complaint list.  It was like this before the "fix" on the 19th.  I should not have to click individual sims to see the top or bottom of the tree.  Tracing a single family member to the beginning of a neighborhood save is a bit long, ya know?  I know this isn't helpful or constructive, but at this point, these bugs are beginning to seem malicious.

Hello, I'm on the latest version (1.121.372.1020), which was supposed to fix these annoying errors with the family tree, but it hasn't; they're still happening to me. 

Here's a breakdown: 

• When we get to the fourth or fifth generation and I click on one of those children, the tree gets all jumbled up, putting everything together randomly (see image 1).
• - Clicking on someone from the previous generation does display correctly again (see image 2).
• - Second cousins ​​now appear as nephew cousins ​​(see image 3). Before this update (expansion Royal...), second cousins ​​appeared correctly, so it shouldn't be a translation error, although putting "de la Chloe" at the top would be a Spanish grammatical error.
• - Great-grandparents now appear as great-great-grandparents (see image 4).
• - The game still crashes when I open the family tree sometimes. I hope this is investigated and a real solution is found.
• Also, if it's fixed in a future patch, will the save file be corrected after saving this way, or will it remain with errors? I understand that if it's fixed, since the ties are the same, they should automatically be corrected. I hope so...

I know, right???!!! It’s time for my issue to be linked to the family tree now coz cousins created directly from CAS aren’t considered family in family tree and relationship panel ever since the Feb 3 update, which is a pain in the butt, and guess what it’s still not fixed yet
