Legacy Family Trees: Tree collapses/Overlaps/Shows wrong connections

I opened up an older file that I played thru 11 generations just to test out the new family tree. It doesn't happen for all sims but sometimes I will select a sim and they disappear and the whole tree collapses.

So this is the way the tree looks like when i have ashley's father selected (he's off to the right out of frame). If i click on her portrait it looks like this

So some of the relatives are still there but plenty are missing. This is the whole tree that shows, quite collapsed. Hovering over the portraits does display the correct relation to Ashley but as you can see, she isn't there at all. If i select her great-granddaughter it comes back

This is happening with Ashley and all four of her children. Her sister and her sister's children show up normally. Every generation before and after appear to be fine, but i have not clicked every portrait.

My sim is married to his cousins, I hope they fix this very soon.

I'm having a couple of issues with the family tree. In this family, it shows two couples and their kids overlapping. The one with the Married symbol over her face (Batshiva) is in a relationship with Father Winter, her kids are the two with white hair. The sims on either side of her are married with two children, the two with black hair.
In the next picture, Brittany, the dead sim, is showing as married to Clement? She died as a teen. And the children of hers and Bathshiva's brother are showing as her children. And they're overlapping with Batshiva and Clement's children.
This is what it should look like. There are two families that are intermarried, but I don't think that's what's causing the problems.
I have another family in the same save file that is having issues. Prince Blaire has 11 children with 5 different sims. But it's showing them all mixed together, with only Chelsey Matos showing as the parent to all 8 extramarital children. And only her other child is showing as a step child, none of the other 6 half-siblings are showing up.
I have checked the trees with mods enabled and disabled, they look the same.

Same thing here with the Thebe family, the mother is now grandmother to both husband and wife in the family tree but it says she's the mother in law in text... Messed up.

They should bring back the old family tree display. Did they test it on a family of eight without any relatives? My six generations have some sims with eight children from different women. It's a pain. Everything was fine before. It will be funny when they ban having many children instead
