Ok so my machine is a bit older (HP envy 17 ae1xx Win 10) though upgraded with a 1tb SSD and Win 11, 16G ram 2G NVidia graphics. Sims is located on the SSD along with my other games. Got to the Main menu in a reasonable amount of time. launched my saved game which admittedly is heavily modded with a bit of CC and gameplay mods. Not sure how long this has been going but I went outside and pitched a tent and came back in to see it was still loading... Made coffee and still loading... Googled the issue and came here, read the above posts and typed this far and it's still loading.... It has never taken this long to load... At most maybe 5 mins but most likely less. I have not added any mods since the last time I ran the game.
this is the same issue with everyone different specs, mod/no mod the loading time just to the main menu is taking a bit longer than usual .Mine used to take seconds now 2-5 minutes and it is a bit annoying.
