[LS] [DO] Date tasks not getting ticked of

Vanilla test game. "Socialize about Meal" not completing on Date. 

Beam Blissful Feelings of Food Transcendence. Debate Flavor Profiles. Express Gastronomical Confusion.

I've been having this problem for a while now.  The Sims get seated but only the first of date goals gets recognized. I end up with just a bronze status for the date. 

I have tested this extensively I did post somewhere about it thank you for your help and support

Im having this same problem too. Thought it was my mods but removed all of them started a new game and still a problem.

When going on a date to a restaurant for the 7 wild dates challenge, my Sim can complete the main goal (socialize with your date), but nothing she does counts towards mini goals. We can order food and eat it, but it won't count towards "order food for yourself and your date" and we can enthuse about flavors, etc for a long time and it still won't count towards "socialize about meal". I have found no workaround and am simply unable to complete the challenge. I have no mods or CC and am up to date on all games other than the recent hobbies expansion and any kits following that launch. 

6 months later and still having the same problem.

It's the same for me.  If you want a gold date, go to a venue that isn't a restaurant so the broken options don't show up.

I just completed a date. Everything was going well with socialization, even order meals/ drinks for date but couldn’t get them checked off. The food was eatten & the option to socalize about the meal came up. I clicked it and they looked like they did everything, but still no check marks? Now I have a gold date status even though I did everything right.
