[LS] [DO] Date tasks not getting ticked of

6 months later and still having the same problem.

It's the same for me.  If you want a gold date, go to a venue that isn't a restaurant so the broken options don't show up.

I just completed a date. Everything was going well with socialization, even order meals/ drinks for date but couldn’t get them checked off. The food was eatten & the option to socalize about the meal came up. I clicked it and they looked like they did everything, but still no check marks? Now I have a gold date status even though I did everything right. 

This bug is still in the game with the restaurant. Can only complete it at bronze. Guess the restaurant will only be used for traveling to eat.... crazy they haven't fixed this.

Basically, when the Event window pops up, I order for the table, it doesn't acknowledge that I fulfilled the requirement nor does it acknowledge that I discussed the meal with my date, causing me to not get a Golden Date achievement.

This bug has been an issue since purchasing Dine Out earlier this year and it's driving me a little bonkers. 

I ask a Sim out on a date to a restaurant and after requesting a table, the 'order food for table' requirement won't tick off. Neither will 'discuss meal'. 

Is this a bug or am I doing a date wrong??

I am having the same issue. When my sims go on a date to a restaurant they are able to perform the tasks like order for the table etc. but it doesn't get marked as completed under the date which leaves me with a bronze level date everytime. All other dates at other locations are fine and working. I am on PC and have no mods.

It is wild that this bug still exists. Is there really no fix? Is it impossible to have a good date at a restaurant?

Something that I noticed 2 days ago when I was playing is that the birthday parties or the other events don't tick off the way that they're supposed to either. I get a gold trophy for a birthday party just for blowing out the candles on the cake and I didn't do any of the other birthday tasks. 

Took sims on a Dine Out style restaurant date and the only task after being seated that could be completed was to socialize.  That did trigger a gold date but no other tasks could be completed.  It would appear a band aid has been applied to the issue to allow successful date completion but not a fix, per se.

Took sims on a LS create a date restaurant date, which did work better, but the task to order for the table would not tick off as completed.

I play on PC and have never used mods or cc.
