Once he was added to my house his voice changed back but when they're just a Townie and male and pulled from the gallery, it's still high-pitched.
I tried to fix their voice going to manage households, but despite the affected Sim being there, the changes I made in CAS didn’t stick at all.
[ETA: After some experimentation, I managed to fix the voices. Once a Sim from Cupid’s Corner is in my Sim’s contacts, I turned off the option for gallery Sims. After exiting the game and reloading, all the changes I made in CAS were updated in Live Mode. One side effect seems to be that all male Sims in Cupid’s Corner had their voices changed to high-pitched female voices — finding them in the manage households screen and editing in CAS seems to fix it, though.]
