I found an extremely temporary solution, jumbbb had breifly mentioned this but basically everytime you reload into your game, change worlds, or basically leave the playing view and come back to it afterwards you use cheats to add to family and remove to family (or vice versa) to fix the CAS update problem. Yes you do it every single time you realize they reverted back to their old fits, yes it might get tedious sometimes but i find its really quick and better than nothing. Its not like EA is going to make effort to patch this anytime soon
