Makeup and tattoo swatch indicator revert to first swatch instead of selected

When applying any item in CAS, a green indicator appears around the swatch of the selected item. Ever since the update I've noticed that whenever I apply makeup in ANY category (eyes, eyeliner, cheek...

So far this has become one of the worst bugs I have ever encountered. It somehow still happens without any saves, adjusted settings, mods, etc. (completely new "The Sims 4" folder).

It just randomly started while I was playing after the tattoo update. Not immediately after I updated but days after that. I have never seen my tattoo and makeup categories working ever again

Really hope one day we'll be cured from this curse.
