Marketplace update ruined my game!!!!

I don't understand it completely but with the new update the steam and EA connection is not working. This affects the game to access the DLC packs that I PAID FOR. Marketplace shows the DLC to be deactivated because according to ChatGPT the marketplace UI cannot read the lisence when it is purchased through the EA app or the Steam servers which is ridiculous. I tried to solve the issue with ChatGPT all day and it is not working!!!! I would really appreciate any help at this point, I don't care about the saves as well I don't even want to use mods or CC anymore I just want to open the game that I PAID for or maybe just get a refund for all. I restored everything to an external drive at this point to save my computer from this nightmare.

Just a heads up that you're better off posting on the EA forums, or even reddit, than using ChatGPT for help in general. And you're probably better off posting in this forum for help. If you go through there, you'll find other posts about the same issue.
The Marketplace update did break the game for a lot of people and if you look through there, and through the Sims 4 Mods subforum, you'll find more posts on various ways it has been failing. There's supposed to be another update this week, but we'll see if it does anything.
