Certain Windows/Doors lacks transparent glass

I am a building enthusiast. Recently, I found a terrible display problem when playing the game, a window that can't let light in.
As shown in the attachment, the main door and the big window on the right are all glass, and you can see the buildings inside and outside, but this narrow and tall fan-shaped window is like it is covered with cement and you can't see outside.
Because I haven't played this game for a while, my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I vaguely remember that it was a normal glass window that could see inside and outside.
I think this should be a bug, so please fix it as soon as possible, it makes my house look terrible.
If I remember the name correctly, the name of the window is Super Window (Deluxe Edition).
Because I am not good at English, I used Google Translate above.

Note from EA_Solaire:

Hello all,

If any of you are still encountering this on the latest game version (without mods), would you be willing to share your save file(s)?

If so, please send me a private message with a link to the file. Instructions can be found here: https://forums.ea.com/idea/the-sims-4-bug-reports-en/information-how-to-send-user-files-to-the-sims-4-team/5048472

Thanks!

  • Hi,I noticed a strange issue while playing: some windows are not transparent once they’re placed.

I tested it a bit and found that the windows appear transparent while moving them in Build Mode, but as soon as they’re placed, they lose transparency again. This only happens with certain windows, not all of them.

I do use mods, but I find it unusual that this issue affects only specific windows. It doesn’t impact gameplay, but it does affect the aesthetics of builds. Also the opaque is only seen from the outside. When inside the house, the windows are transparent.

I’ve attached pictures to show the problem, since it looks quite odd.

I had lowered the objects settings to low, but from medium and above it works again as it should :)
