Ever since the last update (which was supposed to improve performance), I’ve been experiencing micro stutters whenever I move the camera around in-game. The FPS counter shows a stable 60 FPS, but the camera movement isn’t smooth anymore.
For reference, I’m running the game on an AMD RX 7700 XT. Before the update, the game felt smoother at the same settings.
Is anyone else running into this issue?

and let me know what happens. The LOD distances are what matter, not necessarily the values, as in, you want to increase the distance at which the game switches from the highest level of detail to any of the others.
If that doesn't hlep, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
I'm also experiencing this issue on Xbox.
I am experiencing the same problem. Until the last update to version 1.117, my game was smooth. After updating the game, stutters appeared when moving the camera. Especially if the game is not on pause.
Hope this problem will be fixed soon.
I also noticed the game's been kinda laggy after the August 19th update too. It's just not as smooth as it used to be! Please fix this!
I'm seeing some of the same issue with simulation lag, when they take food out of the fridge for instance they stand around for 30 seconds or more before finding a place to eat their food. I did call to meal and everyone just stood around with their plate in their hand for ages. Then often they set it back down and go do something else. I really have to force them to eat. It's exhausting.
I play on PC, removed the whole sims4 folder before updating ( deleted it and let the game spwan a fresh one), repaired the game after updating and then put saves back. No mods or CC used ( before but not now). Windows 11, Lenovo laptop with 16GB RAM, i5 9th gen , Nvidia GTX 1050. Before the latest update there wasn't this amount of lag. Also when running a residential business it's lagging a lot more now than before. I am up to date always with this PC. I don't have EBN but have all other packs& kits.
Sims also have to be forced to stay in bed.
Oh my God, I have the same problem! I thought I was going crazy it completely ruins the whole gaming experience.
