Mourning/Grief moodlet although Sim was spared/resurrected

This has happened every time I have a sim that gets spared since I got the new life & death pack. The grief style gets triggered as soon as the sim STARTS dying, and then there's no way to (without cheats) remove it (aside from just letting it play out and dealing with their grief as if the sim actually died), even if they have other moodlets related to witnessing the sim come back to life. Honestly this would probably be fixed if there was a short term reaction mood to witnessing the death, but no longer term grief or mourning until the sim has actually been reaped. 

I had this months ago, and it's happened again. Last time, my sim died from hysteria and was spared because of a death flower. This time, it was a meteor and gnome protection. Both times, my sim's family and friends who witnessed the event continued mourning him and receiving phone calls about his death. Since Life and Death, I haven't had a single witnessed spared death that didn't result in grief for those present. 

I can understand witnessing it being traumatic regardless, but the moodlets don't match up. They're missing someone who's right in front of them. I guess there's something that's not clearing the grieving state when sims are spared.

I have this too. My Sim was saved via Death Flower, and his family is still grieving his loss.

Yea this has been happening to me too for a couple years now, I almost find it funny cuz the sims will be crying hysterically and the “dead” sim they are mourning is standing right next to them alive and well 😂. 

I've had that issue for years as well. So frustrating when they didn't die and everyone in the household is sad and crying while the supposedly "dead" sims is right there.
