It seems to be a bug that when a Sim dies but is saved from death, their loved ones continue to mourn for them and go through the entire grieving process in the game. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or if the intention is for them to remain in mourning even though the Sim is alive, but to me, it doesn’t make much sense.
